Our “pay for services” are tailored for you. If there is a free or cheaper service out there we will tell you!
Due to budget pressures on funders and a limited “pot” of money available DIAL LEEDS services have suffered from cut after cut. To offset this and to provide a much needed service we have decided to offer some of the same services we have offered historically as a “pay for service”. Our aim is to provide high quality, holistic services for disabled people at a reasonable price.

What we offer:
- Equipment, Wheelchair and walking equipment hire (walking frames etc.) – these are subject to availability and need to be collected and returned. Please note these are stored at our Hub in the Denis Healey Centre where we are only on a Monday and some Fridays. Please allow us time to be able to make one available for you.
Wheelchair Hire:
We have a number of manual wheelchairs available to hire. Please note that at this time they are only available to hire on a Monday for 7 days or longer and can be collected from our office at the Denis Heale Centre between 1pm and 3pm. They are standard adult wheelchairs with a max weight of 18 Stone. Our 2 main wheelchairs are a standard manual wheelchair and a “transit” chair (similar to the lightweight ones used in hospitals).
Prices:
Per week – £15.00
Per weekend (Fri – Mon) – £5.00
Deposit – £20.00
Cushion (one off fee) – £2.00
If need for longer price is negotiable.
Walking frames:
We have a couple of walkers available for hire.
Four wheeled rollator with cable brakes and seat.
Folding Three Wheel Tri Walker with cable brakes and carry bag.
Prices:
Per week – £7.50
Per weekend (Fri – Mon) – £3.50
Deposit – £10.00
Radar (NKS) toilet key sales:
DIAL LEEDS offers RADAR accessible toilet keys for sale, either to collect from the DIAL LEEDS Hub at the Denis Healey Centre, Foundry Mill Street, Leeds LS14 6RD (open on Monday between 1pm and 3pm) or we can post them out and on occasion deliver them.
We supply genuine RADAR keys and all income is put back into DIAL LEEDS to help more disabled people in Leeds and the surrounding area.
You can pay by cash in person in person or via a cheque either in person or by post. Please do not send cash through the post.
Each key costs £3.50 if collected and £4.75 if sent out in the post
